Privacy policy
Effective September 7, 2026. This policy describes how TikTok Transcript API, an independent service operated by Woodbark Software, handles information when you use this website, API, and MCP endpoint.
Information we process
We store your email address and account information, sign-in sessions, hashed API keys, submitted video URLs, transcript text and timestamps, job status, credit usage, and billing references. Authentication may process your IP address and browser information to protect sessions and limit abuse. Never submit content you do not have permission to process.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, process transcripts, return results, maintain credits, manage subscriptions, investigate problems, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. Transcript processing uses Fast Transcriber infrastructure and its transcription providers. This requires transferring the submitted media or audio for processing.
Service providers
We use Vercel for website hosting, Neon for account and application storage, Resend for sign-in email, Stripe for payments, PostHog for basic product analytics, and Fast Transcriber processing infrastructure. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Payment card details are entered into Stripe and are not stored by our application. Providers may process data in countries outside your location.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep you signed in. Our analytics configuration uses memory storage, disables session recording and automatic interaction capture, and respects the browser’s Do Not Track setting. We record page paths and selected actions such as key creation and checkout starts. We exclude API keys, sign-in codes, submitted video URLs, transcript contents, and account emails from those analytics events.
Storage and deletion
Account records and transcript results remain available while needed to provide the service; this release does not promise automatic transcript expiry. You can revoke API keys in the dashboard. To request deletion of your account or transcripts, contact us from your account email. Some payment, security, and backup records may need to remain for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing woodbarksoftware@gmail.com. We verify account ownership before disclosing or changing account data. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply.
